Founded in 2009 by its manager, Dominique Anciaux, AD’WISE is primarily geared to providing consultancy services in the construction sector for all techniques, whether residential, tertiary, commercial or industrial in nature. This consultancy activity did not originate when the company was founded, but was pursued among others in the construction and real estate sector in another structure created by Dominique Anciaux at the very beginning of 1998.
Born in 1967, and a graduate of ECAM in industrial construction engineering, Dominique Anciaux started his career in a Class 8 construction company, R. Maes NV, in Ghent. His duties, a good part of which were performed in the field, such as Quality Manager of a major construction project (the European Parliament – D3 in Brussels) from 1993 to 1997, constitute a major milestone during which he practiced and mastered very early on a particularly wide range of construction techniques and building high technologies, that are rarely all combined in one and the same project.
At the end of 1997, he decided to stand on his own two feet and to set up his own business. He thus embarked on a close cooperation with GPSA, an agency of Project Managers and Economists in the construction sector well known in Brussels, which would be extended until 2014. In that capacity, he became fully proficient in major projects of all sorts, as Quantity Surveyor, Project Manager, or Contractor’s Representative, for a good number of major players among property developers and institutional investors. Bolstered by this experience, he also assumed more specific assignments such as Technical Audits, Expert Valuations or Arbitration.
Fluent in French, Dutch and English, Dominique Anciaux would welcome the opportunity to reawaken his dormant practical knowledge of Italian, Spanish and German.
